CONTEST| public furniture made with recycled materials for an underground passage
POSITION| finalist
The idea of this project came in the attempt to make a change in the environment, pulling another recycling alarm signal.
I have created the sacred monsters for the resting space inside an underground passage that determine us to focus on recycling. Instead of the invitation to rest in their busy way to the subway, monsters are actually subduing people to a scenography experiment in which people would be surrounded by these creatures that seem to shout: listen the environment…look around you…recycle!
Monsters themselves are created from recycled cardboard, these huge silhouettes rise above you in order to gather your attention and invite you to take a seat in the middle to experience the environmental change.
The setting is placed in an underground urban passage, sustaining the idea that a change should come from the inside.
